Gombe United’s Mohammed Babaganaru targets Shooting Stars scalp in Ibadan

Mohammed Babaganaru, Technical Adviser of Gombe United is already plotting how to secure decent result against Shooting Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League encounter on Wednesday.

After their opening day loss to Sporting Lagos, the Savannah Scorpions recorded their first victory of the season with a 2-0 home win over champions Enyimba on Sunday thanks to goals from Chijioke Alaekwe and Ahmed Jimoh.

And Babaganaru who was delighted with the result and performance of his players has charged them to shift focus to next challenge which he believed winnable for his side.

“I’m very happy with how we responded to the loss in Lagos and how give it all against Enyimba,” Babaganaru told Nigeriafootball.ng.

“It was a good game and one that can give us believe going forward, we are going to play another traditional team, a team with character and attitude but it’s about the three points. Fans should keep praying for us.”
