Nigeria and Atalanta striker Ademola Lookman has earned a prestigious nomination for the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards, setting up a high-profile battle against some of football’s greatest names, including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Erling Haaland.

The announcement of the nominees was made by the organizers on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, with Lookman’s inclusion marking a significant milestone in his career.

The 27-year-old forward, who has enjoyed a standout year with both club and country, was ranked 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings and is also a strong contender for the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.

Lookman’s impressive form has caught the attention of football fans worldwide, as he continues to shine on the international and club stages.
