Ademola Lookman scores as returning Victor Osimhen’s assist seals Napoli win

Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen made his return from injury as he provided an important assist to seal a 2-1 win for Napoli against Atalanta.

Osimhen who was just having his first action since returning from injury came into the game in the second half against Atalanta who had another Nigerian, Ademola Lookman in their rank.

A minute before half time, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia put the Partenopei ahead with a brilliant finish.

Nigeria winger, Ademola Lookman brought the La Dea (The Goddess) back into the game eight minutes after the start of the second half with a swift finish.

Atalanta were dangerous in the Napoli half and were unfortunate to see a goal ruled out for offside in the second half.

With meters of chances, Osimhen stretched out to lay a valuable pass to Elif Elmas and the Macedonia international wasted no chance to score the match winning goal for the Partenopei in the 79th minute.

Napoli returned to winning ways after the disappointing home loss to Empoli last week.
