AFCON 2023: Osimhen to arrive on Thursday as Eagles camp swell to 22 players

Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen is expected to arrive at Super Eagles camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday as preparation gets in top gear for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

The 2023 Africa Player of the Year winner is expected to arrive at camp on Thursday morning to join up with teammates.

Also expected in camp is William Troost Ekong who should be in camp by midnight.

Players started arriving at Eagles camp in preparation for AFCON 2023 on Wednesday from their base.

As of Thursday morning, there are 22 players in camp.

They are Ahmed Musa, Kenneth Omeruo, Moses Simon, Olorunleke Ojo, Alex Iwobi, Ajayi Semi, Ola Aina, Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, and Jo Aribo.

Others are Frank Onyeka, Bruno Onyeamachi, Chidozie Awaziem, Zaidu Sanusi, Victor ⁠Boniface, Fred Onyedika, Bright Osayi Samuel, Samuel Chukwueze, Stanley Nwabali, Francis Uzoho, Alhassan Yusuf, and Sadiq Umar.

Two trainings are scheduled for Thursday with the morning session starting by 9:30 am UAE time.

The evening training session is slated for 6:30 pm UAE time.
