Ayobami Junior Makes History With Three Assists for Shooting Stars

Shooting Stars Sports Club midfielder Ayobami Junior has written his name into the club’s record books after delivering a remarkable performance in their victory over Wikki Tourists FC in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The creative midfielder produced an outstanding display, registering three assists in a single match, a rare feat that places him among an elite group of Shooting Stars players to achieve such a milestone.

Ayobami first showcased his playmaking brilliance in the 17th minute, when he set up Sodiq Ibrahim to open the scoring for the Oluyole Warriors. He continued to influence the tempo of the game and later created another chance that allowed Emmanuel Lucky to restore Shooting Stars’ lead before halftime.

With the match approaching a tense finale, the midfielder once again proved decisive. In the 88th minute, Ayobami delivered a perfectly placed corner kick that was headed home by Tijani Al-Ameen, sealing a crucial victory for the Ibadan-based side.

The impressive performance further underlines Ayobami Junior’s growing importance in the team’s attacking setup this season. The midfielder now boasts 11 assists for Shooting Stars in the current campaign.

With eight matches remaining before the end of the season, Ayobami will be looking to add to his assist tally and continue playing a key role in Shooting Stars’ push for a strong finish in the league.
