Barcelona star Asisat Oshoala praises Kunle Soname over Remo Stars facilities

Nigeria forward, Asisat Oshoala has praised the owner and founder of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Remo Stars Football Club following her visit to the Ikenne-based club.
The five-time African women’s footballer of the year paid a courtesy visit to the club Remo Stars on Thursday to see the world-class facility, Asisat met with the Remo Stars coach and players, Beyond Limit Academy players, and the new Remo Stars women’s football team.
“I am really happy to be here at Remo to meet with the chairman of the club, I could recollect that the chairman sponsored my foundation project in 2016 which today gave birth to so many sponsors in my foundation project,” Oshoala stated.
“I am also wowed at the level at which football is in Ikenne. The facility here is world-class, from the stadium to lecture rooms and gym this is the same you experience and see in Europe “Oshoala said.
Remo Stars‘ tweeted: “Our club president, Hon Kunle Soname OFR, on Thursday hosted Super Falcons forward @Asisat Oshoala on a courtesy visit.
Beyond Limits also shared their excitement, stating: “We had Super Falcons forward @AsisatOshoala speak to our boys during her visit to the academy on Thursday.”
The trip to Ikenne was rounded off with Asisat meeting with the women’s team of Remo stars.
Oshoala recently represented the country at the just concluded FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Her teammate and Atletico Madrid forward, Rasheedat Ajibade also visited Remo Stars after her participation at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
