Bayelsa Queens Chairman Congratulates Deputy Governor Peter Akpe

The Chairman of Bayelsa Queens FC, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala, has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, Dr. Peter Pereotubo Akpe (PhD), on his successful swearing-in as Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.

In a statement issued on behalf of the club’s management, technical crew, players and backroom staff, Pastor Apreala described Dr. Akpe’s emergence as a reflection of the trust and confidence reposed in him by Governor Douye Diri and the good people of the state.

“We are confident that your tenure as Deputy Governor will build on the foundations of progress and deliver purposeful leadership that will drive sustainable development across the state, most especially in the sporting sector,” Pastor Apreala stated.

“As you take on this noble responsibility, we pray for divine wisdom, strength and direction to deputise effectively. May your tenure bring peace, prosperity and remarkable transformation to the Glory of All Lands State.”

The Bayelsa Queens chairman further expressed optimism about strengthening collaboration between the state government and the club in advancing sports development, particularly women’s football.

He reaffirmed the club’s commitment to working closely with the Deputy Governor to promote unity, cooperation and sustained growth in Bayelsa’s sporting landscape.

“Once again, congratulations, Your Excellency. We wish you a successful and impactful tenure,” the statement concluded.
