Blessing Nkor continues scoring form for Asya against Trabzonspor

Nigeria forward, Blessing Nkor was on the goal scorers sheet as her Turkish top-flight side, Asya secured a 4-1 win against Trabzonspor in a league encounter on Sunday.

Eli Kesgin broke the deadlock for the host in the 45th minute to give her side a slim halftime lead.

Two minutes into the second half, Nkor doubled the lead for Asya to further strengthen the team’s resolve to win the game.

Tatuashvli reduced the deficit for the visitors in the 65th minute but the goal was a mere consolation for Trabzonspor.

Matvea restored Asya’s two-goal lead in the 90th minute.

The team still had the chance to increase their lead in the additional minutes of the second half from Tatiana Mason.

Nkor who is Asya’s current top goal scorer for the season has scored four goals in her debut season in the Turkish Women’s Super Lig.

Asya occupy the 12th position on the league table with eight points, the same points as Trabzonspor.

The team will next face ALG Spor in the league on November 19, 2023.
