BREAKING!!! NPFL bars Head Coaches without CAF B Licence

It’s now necessary that to take a seat on the bench throughout matches, all Head Coaches of the Nigeria Premier Soccer League (NPFL) golf equipment should possess the Confederation of Africa Soccer (CAF) B Licence.

As a part of its rollout actions for the beginning of the 2023/24 season, the NPFL Chief Working Officer, Davidson Owumi introduced that the requirement is a part of the league’s bid to enhance the standard of technical efficiency of the golf equipment

“One of many areas of the league we search to enhance within the new season is the realm of technical efficiency of our groups by means of the gamers and this will solely be achieved by having competent Managers on the bench.

“For this season, we are going to solely enable Head Coaches with a minimal qualification of the CAF B Licence to take a seat on the bench. This can be reviewed upwards subsequent season.

“The thought is to encourage our coaches to enhance themselves by means of increased certifications by collaborating in respected programs”, defined Owumi.
