Enugu Rangers defender Ifeanyi Onyebuchi has confirmed that the team is in good shape for their CAF Champions League clash with US Zilimadjou.
The Comoros Island club will host the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL champions in the first leg of the preliminary round tie at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.
Onyebuchi stated that the team has been motivated enough and would be giving all for victory in the game.
“We are ready for our opponents in US Zilimadjou and we are playing this match for the badge, our fans and our country,” Onyebuchi told Nigeria’s player gallery.
“I am very confident with my teammates, I know what they can do, we have the best coach, we have the best fans and we are fired up for this, to me winning this match is non-negotiable.”
The second leg of the encounter will take place next Sunday at the same ground as Rangers are also using Uyo as their home ground for the Continental engagements.
