Charity Reuben sets another record in Al Ahly’s win over Modern

Nigeria forward, Charity Reuben is taking the Egyptian women’s league by storm after three games in her incredible debut season on the North African soil.

The former Nigeria junior international scored the winning goal as Al Ahly edged Modern 1-0 on Thursday.

It took just 36 seconds for the former Bayelsa Queens player to score for the Egyptian side.

The goal was the fastest in the Egypt Women’s Premier League adding to her record.

In the opening match of the season, Reuben scored two goals, becoming the first player to score for Al Ahly in their Derby win over Zamalek.

After three league games, the former BIIK Kazurgut star has scored three league goals.

Al Ahly is among the joint top league leaders with a maximum of nine points alongside NBE and FC Masar.

The Egyptian side will bank on the prolific forward for goals in their bid to win the league which will seal a place at the CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers for UNAF (North Africa) region.
