Chinaza Uchendu on target as Gyeongju maintain unbeaten run

Nigeria international Chinaza Uchendu was part of the goal scorers as her South Korean WK League Women side, Gyeongju secured a 0-2 away win against Changnyeong on Thursday.
The former Linkopings midfielder last scored for her side on June 13, 2022, and ended her five-match run of not finding the back of the net.
In the additional minutes of the first half, the 2019 Women’s World Cup participant for Nigeria gave her side the lead.
Another goal from Japanese midfielder, Tanaka Asuna in the additional minutes of the second half handed Gyeongju a 2-0 win.
Uchendu had scored four goals for Gyeongju in the league this season since she joined the South Korean side from the Swedish Allsvenskan side, Linkopings FC.
The win extended Gyeongju’s unbeaten run to three games, a streak that started with a 1- draw against Boeun Sangmu on August 25, 2022.
The team defeated Sejong Sportstoto 2-1 in its previous league encounter before the latest 0-2 victory over Changnyeong.
Gyeongju currently occupy the second position on the log as far as the South Korean WK League Women is concerned with 46 points after 20 games, three points behind leaders, Incheon Hyundai Steel.
Uchendu and her side will next face Seoul in their next domestic topflight encounter on October 27, 2022.
