By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Newly unveiled Technical Adviser of Lobi Stars, Coach Abubakar Bala, wasted no time in getting down to work as he officially assumed duties on the team’s technical bench on Tuesday.

The new gaffer opened his first training session with tactical drills before switching to high-intensity two-a-side games designed to test player sharpness, fitness, and on-field chemistry.

Both new arrivals and experienced squad members were put through their paces.

During his unveiling on Monday, Coach Bala reaffirmed his commitment to returning Lobi Stars to the Nigeria Premier Football League, making it clear that only players who prove their worth on the pitch will earn a place in the squad.

“We are here to work, to compete, and to win. Every player must show the quality, discipline, and determination required to wear the Lobi Stars jersey,” Bala stated.

The gaffer aim to guide the team to instant return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Lobi Stars were relegated to the Nigeria National League (NNL) at the end of the 2024/25 season.
