Confluence Queens confident ahead of new NWFL season — Chairman Isah Dolly

As Confluence Queens resumed preparations for the upcoming Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season, the club’s chairman, Hon. Abdulmalik Isah Dolly, has expressed optimism about the team’s chances in the new campaign.

Speaking during a training session at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, Hon. Dolly praised the commitment of the players and technical crew, urging them to remain focused, disciplined, and united as they gear up for the season ahead.

“All hands are on deck to make the forthcoming season better and to win titles, as we remain optimistic,”
the chairman stated, reaffirming management’s determination to ensure a successful campaign.

Also present at the session was the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe, who encouraged the players to be good ambassadors of Kogi State both on and off the pitch.

Hon. Anyebe further assured the players of the state government’s commitment to their welfare, emphasizing that His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo, remains steadfast in supporting sports development and empowering the girl child through football.

With the combined backing of management and government, Confluence Queens are set to approach the new NWFL season with renewed confidence, ambition, and determination to compete for top honours.
