Costa Rica 2024: Niyungeko Alain Olivier calls up 20 to face Nigeria U20 women

Head coach of Burundi, Niyungeko Alain Olivier has invited 20 players for the task ahead of Sunday’s final qualifying round for 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers in Dar es Salaam.
Three goalkeepers, seven defenders, three midfielders, and seven attackers made the squad as the Central Africans eye a spot at the finals of this year’s global women youth showpiece in Colombia.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup quarter-finalists, Nigeria arrived on Tuesday for the first leg encounter, for which the Confederation of African Football has picked South African official Nonjabulo Nonhle Ndlela as referee.
The first leg is scheduled for Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Sunday.
The return leg match will take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, 20th January.
Nigeria’s best appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup was being beaten finalist on two occasions.
Winner of the two legged tie will qualify for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
