Global Afrobeats superstar and Nigerian music icon Davido has been officially confirmed as a headline performer for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Opening Ceremony, set to take place this Saturday.
The multiple award-winning artist is expected to deliver a high-energy, show-stopping performance, celebrating African music, culture and creativity on one of the continent’s biggest sporting stages.
His appearance will beam Afrobeats to millions of viewers around the world as AFCON kicks off.
