Desire Oparanozie hospitalized over stressful sickness

Recently retired Super Falcons captain, Desire Oparanozie has been hospitalised in an undisclosed hospital following a stressful sickness.
On Thursday, November 16, 2023, Desire Oparanozie revealed via her social media platform that she had been battling sickness for a while.
In the photos posted, Oparanozie was seen receiving a drip at a health facility.
Along with the photos was a message from Oparanozie that said, “Stress/sickness 1 – 0 Di. This one knocked me out, but I’m stronger💪🏾. #WeGoAgain”
Recall that the former Super Falcons striker brought an end to her illustrious career after she announced her retirement from both country and club football at the age of 29.
Although her journey in football is set to continue despite her retirement from the national team.
Oparanozie was recently given the Imo State Football Association’s “Honorary Member” designation.
