Reports indicate that Nigeria’s eligible forward, Edna Imade is poised to join German Bundesliga champions, FC Bayern München, with a four-year contract in place.
However, there is a possibility that she may be loaned back to her Spanish Club, Granada, for a year to aid in her development.
This transition represents a significant advancement for the 24-year-old eligible Super Falcons talent, who has been excelling this season.
Imade has recorded 15 goals in the Spanish Liga F and a total of 16 goals across all competitions, contributing an impressive 18 goals overall.
Last weekend, she showcased her scoring prowess once again, netting her 15th goal of the season. Despite Imade’s impressive performance, Granada suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old forward equalized for Granada in the 72nd minute with a composed finish.
She previously played for second-tier Spanish side, Cacereno, and caught the eye of suitor,s leading to her move to Granada ahead of their debut season. The talented player showed class in helping the red and white team secure their top flight status and presently leading their charge occupying the fifth position on the log with two games before the end of the season.
The potential loan to Granada could provide her with the opportunity to further hone her skills and acquire essential experience before fully joining the Bayern Munich team.
