Emeka Inyama bows out as Abia Warriors’ chairman after 16 years

Veteran Sports Journalist, Pastor Emeka Inyama will be leaving his position as Chairman of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Abia Warriors after 16 year in charge.
Pastor Inyama has being in charge of the Umuahia based outfit since 2007 led the club to Nigeria top-flight in 2013.
At valedictory reception held for the departing sports administrator in Umuahia on Friday, players and officials of Abia Warriors as well as other football stakeholders poured encomiums on the former Nigeria National League Club Owners boss.
Those who took turns to speak at the reception described Pastor Inyama as keen sportsman who served the club with utmost dedication.
They also praised him for leaving a lasting legacy as he bows out and pleaded he keeps his doors open at all times since his experience and vast knowledge will still be required to steady the ship of Abia Warriors even in his absence.
On his part, Pastor Inyama who appreciated his fellow board members, management, staff and players and the technical crew for their support all the years he held sway said it was time to leave the stage.
He used the occasion to apologized to those he may wronged during his time just as he commended Abia State government for the opportunity to serve and urged the Staffs to extend same support they gave him to whosoever will step into his shoes.
