By Saheed Afolabi
Rangers International technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu has rued the club’s missed chances against Doma United.
The Flying Antelopes scaled past the Savannah Tigers 2-1 at the Awka City stadium.
Ilechukwu was worried about the squandered chances, while commending Doma United for giving them a run for their money.
“The game has come and gone. I think it’s a very good game and both teams took their chances and we have more chances to score which we didn’t utilize but the team is a work in progress,” Ilechukwu told the Media.
“As a coach, I’m very worried for the team not taking chances because this is what we are doing everyday, converting chances but we will keep on encouraging them to do better.
“The opponent are a very technical side, the team is a very useful side. We give glory to God for this three points because it’s very important to us.”
The Flying Antelopes are ranked third on the NPFL table and will square up against Remo Stars on October eight in Ikenne.
