He made the pledge after Flamingos 1-1 draw with Beyond Limit Football Academy on Wednesday.

”I’m very happy with the performance of the Flamingos against Beyond Limits.” He said.

“What they’ve done is what my senior team could not do and I believe with this performance, they’ll do well in South Africa,” Hon Soname stated.

He donated 500,000 Naira to the girls after a 1-1 draw with Beyond Limit.

”As a way of encouraging them, I’m giving them N500,000 for the good performance against Beyond Limits. I will also give them N1 million if they win in South Africa and another N1 million , if they win the return leg on March, 13 here at Remo Stars Sports Stadium.”

Flamingos won bronze medal at the 2022 Women’s World Cup and reached the quarter final of the 2024 edition.
