Hannover 96 Pursues Anthony Ujah Amidst Liaoning Whowin’s Reluctance

Newly promoted German Bundesliga outfit, Hannover 96, under the guidance of coach André Breitenreiter, is displaying unyielding determination in their pursuit of Super Eagles striker, Anthony Ujah, currently with Chinese Super League side, Liaoning Whowin.

Coach André Breitenreiter’s quest for a top-tier striker has been amplified by the recurrent injuries suffered by Joel Sarenren Bazee, propelling the coach to press Liaoning Whowin for Ujah’s potential transfer to Hannover 96 this summer. However, Liaoning remains steadfast in their resolve to retain the services of the prolific striker, who has firmly established himself as one of the most lethal forwards the club has ever enlisted.

According to Sportsbuzzer, the 26-year-old Ujah is eager to make the move to Hannover this summer, but is currently confronted with his club’s steadfast decision to keep him within their ranks.

Ujah’s trajectory saw him depart from Werder Bremen in 2016 to embark on a new chapter with Super Liaoning Whowin. His tenure with Bremen, initiated in 2015 after transferring from Koln, saw him contribute significantly, netting 11 goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances, a pivotal factor in the Green-Whites’ successful battle against relegation in the preceding season.

As the transfer saga unfolds, the footballing world anticipates with bated breath, awaiting news of whether Anthony Ujah will make the transition to Hannover 96, potentially reshaping the Bundesliga landscape with his formidable striking prowess.
