I’ve great confidence in Tottenham’s Ange Postecoglou – Destiny Udogie
By Saheed Afolabi
Nigeria born player, Destiny Udogie says he has full confidence in Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou ahead of the new English Premier League season.
Spurs snapped up the promising defender from Udinese for a reported £20m fee and the 20-year-old left back revealed his admiration for Postecoglou style of football.
Udogie said he has been following Tottenham in all the matches they played last season and believes they had a good team but were unlucky with results.
“Almost every Premier League game, I was watching them,” Udogie was quoted by Complete Sports.
The Premier League is a difficult league. Every year, it turns. The team was good, just not lucky with the season.
“I like his idea of football. He wants to play football with the ball. Wants to have the ball. I feel like this is going to be a good season for us. We’re going to play good football.
“I know it is a big league, a very challenging league. I’m ready, I have confidence, I feel ready.”
Udogie started his professional career at Hellas Verona and have starred for Italy at the U16 to the U21 level.
