John Ebuka and Sodiq Awujoola lead Ceramica Cleopatra to Egypt League Cup title

Two Nigerians were instrumental in leading Ceramica Cleopatra to lifting the Egyptian League Cup title after a 3-1 win over El Gaish on Wednesday.
They both combined to open the scoring for Ceramica in the 13th minute.
Awujoola set up Ebuka who broke the deadlock before Karim Tarek equalised two minutes before the end of the first half.
Ahmed Zola received his marching orders in the 61st minute with his second yellow card.
The numerical advantage reflected as Mohamed Tony restored Ceramica’s lead in the 71st minute of play.
Five minutes later, Ahmed Belhadji increased the lead to 3-1 in a game involving four Nigerians.
Ebuka came off for Ahmed Rayan in the 56th minute as Ibrahim Mohamed replaced Awujoola in the 81st minute.
El Gaish’s Godwin Okwara came off for Mohamed Diab in the 63rd minute while Samuel Amadi was an unused substitute.
