John Ogu calls out Mo Salah’s hypocrisy on Israel-Palestine conflict

Former Nigeria star, John Ogu has responded to Mohamed Salah’s social media post on the recent attack on Palestine.
The ‘Egyptian King’ as popularly called by football fans in a video via his social media account, appealed to world leaders to “avoid” any additional deaths and end “torn-apart” families.
This followed a large explosion in a busy hospital in Gaza City that claimed the lives of hundreds of people on Tuesday.
However, Ogu believed that the Liverpool winger was biased on the matter by asking for aid for Palestine alone.
Like many other players of Arab descent, Salah declared his support for Gaza, Palestine, and called for a stop at killing innocent children.
Anwar El-Ghazi, Youcef Atal, Karim Benzema, and Mazroui have all publicly declared their support for Gaza.
However, OGC Nice suspended Youcef for taking a side in political matters and FC Mainz has also suspended El-Ghazi for the same reason while Mazroui and Benzema have been tagged terrorists by fans.
“It’s not always easy to speak at a time like this. There has been too much violence and brutality, the escalation in recent weeks has been unbearable to witness,” Salah said in a video posted on his X page.
“All lives are sacred and must be protected. The massacres need to stop, families are being torn apart.
“What’s clear now is that humanitarian aid to Gaza must be allowed immediately. The people there are in terrible conditions. The scenes at the hospital last night were horrifying.
“The people of Gaza need food, water, and medical supplies urgently. I am calling on world leaders to come together and prevent the slaughter of innocent souls. Humanity must prevail.”
John Ogu who like many Christians believes in the holiness of Israelites, then responded with a text post on his Instagram story where he tagged Mo Salah’s handle.
“@mosalah I have seen the video of you wanting humanity to prevail. Where were you and the energy when harams attacked and killed innocent Israelis?
“I’m sure you are aware that many Israelis are kidnapped still… Your nation didn’t accept some refugees.”
