Kebbi Fishers get opponents ahead of 2025 NBSL title defence

The top two teams at the of the 2024 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) will meet three times over three rounds as the league conducted the draw for 2025 season.

Holders, Kebbi Fishers will trade tackles with runners up, Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors in Group A.

The group also comprise Nmanko Patigi BSC from Kwara State and Ibom BSC.

In Group B, 2022 winners, Kada BSC are up against Kebbi United BSC, returning Niger BSC, and Jigawa Golden Star BSC which is making their second appearance.

After nine round robin games across three rounds in Kebbi, Kaduna, and Anambra states, the top three teams at the end of the regular season will qualify for the season ending Super Six Playoffs.

The playoffs is scheduled to take place in Akwa Ibom state in December, 2025.

Kebbi Fishers are the defending champions of the league and the most successful with three titles from the last four seasons.

They won the league in 2021, 2023, and 2024 respectively while Kada BSC won the 2022 edition.
