Lobi Stars announce July 15 as resumption date for new NPFL season

Lobi Stars will kickstart their preparations for the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season on July 15.
The Makurdi based club will resume training and commence player registration processes in line with the regulations set by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the NPFL.
As part of their pre-season preparations, Lobi Stars will embark on a training tour across the 23 Local Government Areas of Benue State in a bid to identify and scout new talents to bolster the squad for the upcoming season.
The club is expected to retain the services of head coach, Eugene Agagbe, who will lead the team in the new season.
Lobi Stars finished the 2023/24 season in sixth position, narrowly missing out on a continental spot.
The 2024/25 NPFL season is scheduled to commence on Saturday, August 29.
Lobi Stars will be looking to improve on their previous season’s performance and make a stronger push for a continental spot.
