Nigeria midfielder Maryan Ohadiwe scored two goals to help her Latvia side, SFK Riga, to a comprehensive 7-1 win against Metta in a league encounter on Saturday.

Four goals from Santa Sanija Vuskane lifted SFK Riga to a comfortable win.

Anastasija Poluhovica scored the first goal of the game in the seventh minute.

Vuskane doubles the advantage in the additional minutes of the first half.

She scored three more goals in the 54th, 60th, and 69th minute, respectively, to increase the lead to five.

Ohadiwe scored two goals in the 76th to 83rd minutes to make it 7-1 with the second from the penalty spot as Paula Dzane reduced the deficit for the host in the 61st minute.

She has scored three goals in two games for SFK Riga in the league.

SFK Riga will next face Auda in the league on August 28 before a clash with Vorskla Poltava in the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) Qualifiers on September 4.

Before moving to Latvia, Ohadiwe played for Edo Queens and Osun Babes in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
