24-year-old Nigeria attacker Mary-Ann Ogochukwu Ezenagu has joined the Chinese Women’s Super League side, Hangzhou.

She moved on from the Russian Women’s Super League where she played for Zenit Saint Petersburg.

At the Russian side, Ezenagu won the league title twice and the Super Cup.

Before moving to Russia, Ezenagu featured for Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

With Rivers Angels, she won the 2020/21 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership title.

She was also a youth international and a very talented player playing at the 2016 Fifa Women’s Under 17 World Cup.

Her move to the Chinese WSL added to Nigeria’s latest contingent in China.

Folashade Ijamilusi, Macleans Chinonyerem, and Roosa Ariyo recently completed their switch to Chinese WSL.

Chinonyerem particularly played in the same league with Ezenagu in Russia before moving to Saudi Arabia and now China.
