Newly appointed AC Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has named Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare as a top transfer target as the Serie A giants prepare for a major squad overhaul this summer.
Following a disappointing 2024/2025 campaign, Milan are aiming to bounce back stronger under Allegri, who returned to the San Siro with a mandate to restore the club’s domestic and European competitiveness.
Club sources reveal that Allegri has expressed strong interest in bringing Arokodare to the Rossoneri, with plans already underway to restructure the attacking lineup.
Belgian forward Divock Origi is expected to be offloaded to create space for the Nigerian.
Arokodare, 23, enjoyed a breakout season with Belgian side Genk, finishing as the top scorer in the Belgian Pro League with 23 goals and seven assists.
His impressive form has also attracted interest from top European clubs including Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Manchester United.
The Super Eagles striker joined Genk from French Ligue 2 side Amiens SC in January 2023 for a reported fee of €5 million.
Negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming weeks as Milan aim to secure Arokodare’s signature ahead of pre-season.
