By Oluwadamilola Olaleye
Head coach Bankole Olowookere has invited 30 players to the Flamingos’ training camp as Nigeria’s U17 girls begin preparations for the 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
The provisional list features four goalkeepers, nine defenders, nine midfielders, and eight forwards, reflecting Olowookere’s intent to build a balanced and competitive squad ahead of the global tournament.
Nigeria, bronze medallists at the 2022 edition in India, booked their ticket to Morocco after impressive qualifying victories over South Africa and Algeria.
