Muhammed Tijani: 36 Lion product joins Czech giants, Slavia Prague

Nigerian born striker, Muhammad Tijani has completed a five years move to Czech Republic top club, Slavia Prague from Banik Ostrava nigeriafootball.ng can confirm.
The 22 year old Tijani formerly transfered from 36 Lions FC of Lagos to Banik Ostrava for free and former 36 Lion manager, Hajji Liameed Gafar gave the background story of Tijani’s rise to stardom.
“We implored him to be patient and just play ball. During his time at Ostrava, he managed to unlock 30% of his potential,” started Gafar, who doubles as Lagos FA vice chairman.
“Now, he has signed a contract worth over Two Million Euros with Slavia Prague, we are confident that he will reach 70% of his potential in Prague.
“He will continue to progress until he achieves his full potential, which we believe will be 100% soon.
“We are incredibly thrilled that a young man scouted in Badiko Kaduna State by a renowned journalist Vincent Alumona has blossomed into a nightmare for defenders, scoring goals and making waves in the Czech Republic as a result of great collaboration with Cem Sagar and Dan Smejkal.
“More power to your elbow son as we wish you all the best in your new club. Our work necessitates 100% patience and transparency and we always excel in both areas,” he concluded.
Tijani has since resumed training with his new teammates in Aigen ahead of the new season and has expressed his delight after signing the contract.
“I’m excited. I like challenges, transferring to Slavia is exactly the kind of challenge I wanted,” Tijani told the club’s official website.
“I’m looking forward to the European matches, to the fans. I would like to be the top scorer in the league one day.”
Slavia Prague have won Czech Republic first league for seven times and we runners up in the just concluded 2022/2023 league season.
