By Bethel Kalu
The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Gusau will inaugurate the Interim Management Committee of the Nigeria Professional Football League on Friday, 21st October 2022.
In September, the Sports Minister, Hon. Sunday Dare had composed the IMC after expressing lack of confidence in the defunct League Management Company and subsequently suspended it from managing the nation’s elite league.

LMC’s suspension raised eyebrows in the Nigerian football space, with many waiting to see what the new NFF President would do.
The inauguration of the IMC will be held at the NFF Conference Room inside the NFF Secretariat in Abuja at 11am.
The IMC, which will be chaired by former National Sports Commission director general Gbenga Elegbeleye is expected to begin work immediately, and will decide when the league kicks off and how it would be run.
The IMC includes Elder Paul Bassey as Vice Chairman; Prince Davidson Owumi as Head of Operations; while  Hon.
