American-born Nigeria international star Patricia George is ready to release her debut rap freestyle after her injury forced retirement from football at the age of 26.
George, who now goes by the stage name ‘Patty P’ was eligible to play for the United States, Venezuela, or Nigeria.
However, she eventually decided to switch allegiance to Nigeria at the women’s tournament in 2021 but did not make the team despite being at the camp, but caught the eye of many Nigerian supporters due to her attractive look.
However, the former SC Sand and Fenerbache star called it quits with the game without making an appearance for Nigeria at the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (WAFCON) or FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian took to her social media page to share that she had discovered a ‘new talent’, with pictures of her in a music studio back in July.
Meanwhile, in January, the young forward announced that she would take a break from the game.
She went on to apologize to her new club, Fenerbahce, for her shock decision just weeks after putting pen to paper at the club.
However, she has now decided to follow her love for music.
“I would like to let everyone know that I’ve decided to hang my soccer cleats up for at least this year and take a full break from playing soccer,” she wrote in a recent post.
“It’s not a decision I made lightly but a decision that I know is right for me and my spirit.
“I haven’t fully decided if I will try to make a comeback next year. But right now I’m following my heart,” she wrote on IG back in January.
“Two days left, Patty P Freestyle- official video coming.”
