NNL April/May 2025 Monthly Awards Set for June 18 in Abuja

The Nigeria National League (NNL), in partnership with Prostar Sports and Sportlight Hub, will host the combined April and May Monthly Excellence Awards on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the West Point Hotel, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja.

The awards celebrate top performances across Nigeria’s second-tier football league, promoting talent development, discipline, and professionalism.

Winners – NNL April/May 2025 Monthly Awards:

  • Highest Goal Scorer: Gukut M. Chindi – Edel FC
  • Best Goalkeeper: Efevwerha Joke – Warri Wolves FC
  • Best Coach: Napoleon Aluma – Warri Wolves FC
  • Best Behaved Team: Sokoto United FC
  • Most Valuable Player (MVP): Valentine Ugwu – Solution FC
  • Goal of the Month: Shamasu Mohammed – Barau FC

Warri Wolves FC emerged as a major winner, securing both the Best Coach and Best Goalkeeper awards. The event will be graced by top officials from the NFF, NNL, Prostar Sports, and key football stakeholders.

This initiative underscores ongoing efforts to uplift standards in Nigeria’s domestic football scene and honor excellence on and off the pitch.
