Nottingham Forest gives major injury update on Ola Aina

Nottingham Forest have confirmed that Ola Aina suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty with Nigeria and will be sidelined for an extended period of time.

Ola Aina picked up the problem early in the first half of the match against Bafana Bafana in South Africa, returning to Forest for assessment and treatment. Nottingham Forest.

Scans have since suggested the layoff will be significant with multiple outlets report Aina is set to miss around two–three months of action, with an earliest realistic return projected in early December.

That absence has already led Forest to make adjustments to their squad registration for the domestic campaign with the likelihood that he might miss the AFCON competition.
The club and medical team will continue to monitor his rehabilitation and provide further updates as his treatment progresses.
