Warri Wolves head coach Johnny Austin has expressed confidence that his side is poised for a successful Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Seasiders, returning to the top flight after a five-year absence, have made an impressive start, recording five wins, three draws, and two defeats, currently sitting fourth on the league table.
Austin praised his team’s early performances and emphasized the importance of maintaining focus as the season progresses.
“I know the league is still young, but I’m happy with how far we’ve come in terms of performance and results,” Austin told Warri Wolves’ media team.
“We will continue to give our best to reciprocate the passion and trust in this team.”
Warri Wolves will face Ikorodu City in their next league encounter on Sunday in Ozoro, looking to build on their strong start.
