Kwara United head coach, Kabiru Dogo was furious over the time wasting antics of their visitors Doma United in a 0-0 draw at the Ilorin Township Stadium on Wednesday.
The game ended in a frustrating goalless draw for the hosts as the Afonja Warriors came into the game targeting a win but met several negative antics from the Savannah Tigers in the game.
The former Lobi Stars gaffer believes the center referee couldn’t hold down the game on his own for refusing to punish Doma United players over their time wasting antics.
“We approached the game with much enthusiasm but that wasn’t enough to break down the time-wasting Savannah Scorpions who have goalkeeper Kingdom Osayi to thank,” Dogo told the media.
“The referee, I think was too lenient with them despite wasting much time. In 1st half, we played less than 30′ as their players were falling all around the field. Its negative football.
“We will continue to work hard to achieve the set objectives for the season.”
The 13th placed Harmony Boys will lock horns with table toppers, Remo Stars at Ikenne on Sunday, December 8.
