NPFL: Ojonugwa Adejoh outlines Abia Warriors’ game plan ahead of Elkanemi clash

By Wale Mustapha

Abia Warriors’ midfield dynamo, Ojonugwa Adejoh, has revealed that his team is fully focused on securing the three points against Elkanemi Warriors in their upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 37 encounter.

The ‘Umu Chineke’ side will host the Maiduguri-based Elkanemi Warriors in Umuahia on Sunday, marking their final home game of the season. With continental football aspirations on the line, Abia Warriors are determined to finish strong.

Adejoh acknowledged that while Elkanemi Warriors are a formidable opponent, the stakes of the match will drive his side to perform at their best.

“Elkanemi are a tough side, but we are 100% ready for the match,” Adejoh said. “We’ve put in a lot of work during training after our midweek fixture. The spirit in the camp is high, and although it will be a challenging game, we know our objectives, and we’re ready to give it everything to secure the win.”

Imama Amapakabo-led side is keen to seal a place in next season’s continental competitions, and they will look to take another step toward that goal with a victory over Elkanemi.
