NPFL: Remo Stars sign Benin Republic goalkeeper Serge Obassa

Remo Stars announced the acquisition of Benin Republic international goalkeeper, Serge Obassa.
Ahead of the 2024/2025 CAF Champions League campaign which gets underway this month, the Sky Blue Stars continued to recruit new players for the task ahead.
Obassa joined the Ikenne-Remo-based side from Benin Republic side, AS Cotonou, ahead of next season’s campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and CAF Champions League.
He joined the list of foreign players in the team including Franck Mawuena Koffi (Togo) and Daniel Akanbek (Ghana).
Daniel Ogunmodede’s side has continued to unveil new players in preparation for the huge task of going past the Moroccan side AS FAR in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
They have also signed some talents in the NPFL and across the country.
Notably, former center-back Ifeanyi Anaemena returned to the team and returned after the unveiling of strikers, Shuaibu Lalle Ibrahim and Onuoha Peter.
Recently, right-back Ibrahim Abubakar and left-back Chiemema Nwokeji also completed their switch to Remo Stars.
