NPFL: Robert Mizo pens emotional farewell to Bayelsa United after Al Hilal move

Robert Mizo has sent his farewell message to Bayelsa United’s attacking sensation after he completed a move to join Libyan top division, Al Hilal Benghazi.
The 23-year-old has been in scintillating form in the Nigeria Premier Football League, hitingt a double figure last season and has already scored 11 goals in just 16 games with the Yenagoa based club this term.
In his goodbye message to his Bayelsa United family after agreeing to the three-and-a-half year offer from the Libyan club, Mizo appreciated the management, staff, team mates and supporters of the club for the love and support through his time with them.
“I want to sincerely appreciate Bayelsa United for giving me the platform to be part of the club, which is the bedrock of my football career and development,” he wrote on his X handle.
“Thanks to everyone who has contributed to my career from the beginning until this moment. To my former teammates and coaching staff of Bayelsa United FC, I will forever remain grateful for your support, advice and guidance.
“And to all my fans, both at home and abroad, I thank you for your support and for being part of my story.”
