NPFL: Taye Muritala reveals reasons for rejoining Shooting Stars

Shooting Stars newly acquired defender, Taye Muritala has revealed the reasons for joining the club this summer.
The right-back joined 3SC from Akwa United on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee to mark his return to the Ibadan based club.
Muritala said his return to Shooting Stars was in ambition to guide the club back to the topflight success.
“I’m here to help this club regain its rightful place in Nigerian football and on the continent,” Muritala told Brace Radio.
“It always hurts when I see the team struggling in the past seasons but you know when you are outside, there is nothing you can do to help the situation.
“The main reason why I came back, is to help the club return to the top spot and I believe with what I am seeing so far, It is quite possible.”
Muritala was formerly on the books of Akwa United and Wikki Tourists.
