Barring any last-minute changes, Kennedy Boboye is set to be named the new Technical Adviser of Warri Wolves, NigeriaFootball.ng has learned.
Boboye is expected to replace Aluma Napoleon, who was suspended earlier this week by the club’s management following a string of poor performances in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Club sources confirmed that Boboye emerged as the top candidate from a shortlist of potential replacements, with the management confident in his ability to revive the team’s form.
The experienced coach has previously held managerial roles at Plateau United, Akwa United, Abia Warriors, and Sunshine Stars, bringing a wealth of top-flight experience to the Warri-based side.
Warri Wolves have struggled for consistency this season, collecting just seven points from their opening six matches.
The Seasiders will face Barau FC in a Matchday Seven clash this weekend in Kano, with hopes high that Boboye’s imminent arrival could provide the spark needed to turn their campaign around.
