NWFL: Bolaji Olamide living the dream in new role with Remo Stars Ladies

By Wale Mustapha

Remo Stars Ladies’ striker, Bolaji Olamide, has shared her excitement about her new role with the club in the ongoing Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership season.

Olamide, who joined Remo Stars Ladies from Sunshine Queens at the start of the current campaign, initially played as a midfielder.

However, she has since been moved to the striking department, and the change has paid off.

The young forward has netted five goals in just four league matches, making her the top scorer in the NWFL this season.

Reflecting on her impressive form, Olamide credited her success to hard work, as well as the support from her coaches and teammates.

She also spoke about her transition from midfielder to striker during her time at Sunshine Queens, describing it as a key turning point in her career.

“Converting me from a midfielder to striker has really helped me understand the best positions to take on the field,” Olamide told The Hope Newspaper.

“I love my new role because I want my name to be synonymous with goal-scoring in the elite women’s league.”
