NWFL: Oparanozie splashes cash on Heartland Queens after late Dannaz Ladies win

Nigeria legend, Desire Oparanozie has commended Heartland Queens for their slim victory over Dannaz Ladies at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.

The Owerri ladies subdued the Cedars 2-1 at the Dan Ainyam Stadium to maintain their unbeaten run at home this season as second half goals from Chimebere Opara and Chinwendu Orji ensured the win for Obi Ogbala’s side.

And Oparanozie described the victory as an exciting one and lauded the effort of the players for fighting hard to get the win, while encouraging the youngsters to keep flying high and shouldn’t relent following her cash donation.

“What an exciting victory. Weldone to everyone one of you from the defense to the attack,” Oparanozie was quoted by Heartland Queens.

“It was a worthy win. You fought till the last minute. I just want to encourage you to keep it up.”

The Naze Millionaires ended 2023 with a win to top the NWFL Premiership group A with 11 points from six matches.
