Robo Queens have kicked off their preparations for the second half of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season, with the team focused on improving their performance after the league’s break.
The Lagos-based club held a training session at the Maracana Stadium in Ajegunle on Tuesday, under the supervision of head coach Emmanuel Osahon.
The training marked the team’s return to action as they aim to build on their performance from the first round.
“We are now back to training after the league break as we gear up for the NWFL second league stanza,” Robo Queens shared on their official Facebook page.
Robo Queens are currently in fifth place on the NWFL Group B table with 10 points.
The Lagos-based team will face Bayelsa Queens in their opening match of the second stanza at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on Wednesday, 19th March.
The club is hoping to make a strong push for better results as they prepare for the upcoming challenges in the second half of the season.
