Official: Bala Abubakar teams up with Lobi Stars, resumes duty

Newly appointed head coach of Lobi Stars, Bala Abubakar has met with the players of the club as the former Niger Tornadoes manager began his managerial role officially.
The experienced gaffer will replace Mohammed Babaganaru at the Pride of Benue and was introduced to the Pride of Benue players in his first outing with the club on Saturday.
The former Niger Tornadoes tactician will call the shots in the technical area as the team is set for the inaugural edition of the Naija Super Eight tournament in Lagos.
Abubakar began is coaching sojourn in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) with Kwara United before teeming up with Niger Tornadoes in 2021.
Lobi Stars contested in the NPL Super Six playoffs but couldn’t secure a continental spot.
