OFFICIAL: Ikorodu City defender Chibuike Prestige joins Vora FC on loan

By Oluwadamilola Olaleye

Albanian side Vora FC have completed the signing of Nigerian defender Chibuike Prestige Ohaegbulam from Ikorodu City on a season-long loan deal, which includes an option for a permanent transfer.

The 21-year-old centre-back, highly rated for his strength, tactical awareness, and tenacity, becomes the latest addition to Vora’s squad as the club looks to strengthen its defensive line ahead of the upcoming campaign.

In an official statement, the club said:”Vora Football Club is pleased to announce the arrival of 21-year-old defender Chibuike Prestige Ohaegbulam, who joins our squad from the elite Nigerian team Ikorodu City FC.

“The talented defender has been hailed as one of the best defenders in the Nigerian league.”

Chibuike played a key role for Ikorodu City last season, helping the side narrowly miss out on a continental spot. His performances caught the attention of several clubs, but Vora ultimately secured his services.

The player is expected to link up with the team once his visa is finalized.
