OFFICIAL: Nigeria forward Grace Henry joins Wydad Athletic Club

Nigeria attacker, Grace Henry has completed a move to Moroccan women’s football side, Wydad Athletic Club.

The former Ibom Angels player switched from another Moroccan team, Hilal Athletic Club Temara.

She signed a two-year contract with her new team till the 2025/2026 season.

Before moving to Morocco, Henry played for Ibom Angels and Edo Queens in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.

With huge investments in women’s football in Morocco, more Nigerian players are making their way to the country.

Recently, defender, Margaret Ademulegun joined Centre Municipal Laayoune. The likes of Adejoke Ejalonibu and Wachukwu Janice recently played in the Moroccan women’s league before competing switches to Tanzania and Turkey respectively.
