OFFICIAL: Omonia Nicosia part ways with Akinkunmi Amoo

Cyprus first division side, Omonia Nicosia have parted ways with Nigeria international, Akinkumi Amoo.
Nicosia announced the decision on their social media handles that contract it entered with Amoo has been terminated due to personal reasons no stated and the club wished him the best ahead in his career.
“We inform you that Akinkunmi Amoo’s contract has been terminated for personal reasons,” Nicosia wrote on X.
“We thank the footballer for his cooperation and wish him the best in his career.”
The 21 year old skilled playmaker has had a tough time in his career lately, he was accused of rape in Denmark while on the books of Copenhagen and served a year prison sentence.
After his ordeal in Denmark, he secured a move to Cyprus to rejuvenate his career which has now been shortened due to the contract termination.
